Tree of Perception, photography, 2015
The installation, entitled “Tree of Perception” consists of the symbols of 12 different religions (executed in ink on canvas) to be fixed around the trunk of a tree in an equal height.
In this way the tree is uniting the 12 religious currents in one combining the individual truth of each current to an all encompassing whole, while the whole only can be perceived as such by walking around the tree and meditating. Each religion has same right to exist as any other religious current. Perception becomes respect and tolerance for the other currents.
